Electronic Dance Music #4: What’s new on Soundcloud, Spotify, YouTube and Co.?

Global sounds from the net: Our greatest discoveries in one Playlist

Every day Tonspion receives the newest tracks from all over the world on Submithub. Our goal is to feature the very best of electronic dance music in this brand-new series. The spectrum reaches from Minimal & Indie-Electronic to Future Bass, Techno, EDM, Deep, Tech, and House music.

Timur Fa – Omen (Techno, Tech House)

Timur Fa is an electronic music enthusiast focused on tech house, deep techno, and deep house. Omen is an eclectic and minimal club banger with a whiff of old school that really hits a nerve. A talent with guts and glory in his artistic genes, someone to look out for in the future.

Puesa – No Estás Aquí  (Lo-fi House, House, Old-school, Deep House)

London based Puesa might be a new kid on the electronic music horizon. But with No Estás Aquí he certainly shows that he’s provocative and bold and will go places.

Polarsen  – How ( Remix by Conrad Clifton)  ( Downtempo / Minimal, Deep House)

Tired of the dark and cold winter months? No worries, Sicilian artist Paolo Ursin delivers a warm and organic tone under his new moniker, POLARSEN. ‘How’ is so uplifting, yearning for a better place for all of us. A cry in the wild open. Wishing you a happy dance experience heading towards the end of 2019!

The Toxic Avenger X Greg Kozo – RadioCassette

Toxic Avenger has ten-year career as a musician on his back. With more than 500 concerts across the world since his debut as a DJ, Toxic is now considered a reference in French electronic music. After a slow build up this track becomes epic!

Mokhov – Dream Spectrum (Techno, Melodic Techno & House, Deep House)

Mokhov, is a Russian-born American electronic music producer based in Las Vegas.

Dream Spectrum is uplifting yet also very dreamy. If you like Four Tet, Bonobo and Tycho, this one will grab you fast.

Lazer Owl X Anthony Lazaro – Running in the Wind (Synthwave /Vaporwave, Indie Electronic)

Italian singer-songwriter, living in Hamburg who tries to navigate the seas of electronic-chilled music with an acoustic guitar as a rudder: the destination is wrapped in uncertainty, the travel is what matters. Lazaro’s crisp vocals are killing it!

Tony Tokyo – What I Wanna Know (Explicit Dialogue) (Future Bass, Electric Mantis)

Tony Tokyo is a London based Producer who hosts top-shelf recognition globally. He not only has received glowing reviews from DJ Mag Spain, but support from Carl Cox, Toddla T & DJ EZ among other prolific DJs has fueled forward motion for the artist. If you like it slow and real and don’t mind some deep talking, then this track is most certainly worth checking out. A bullet loaded with a pretty hot beat, I promise.

Marrius – Easy Fix (Indie Electronic)

After playing The Nelson Mandela Festival, The Transmusicales, supporting Alt-J and receiving BBC Introducing London and Amazing Radio airplay, Marrius, a London Singer / Songwriter,  returns with his new EP “Borrowed Time”. Groovy, deep and distinctive, Marrius’ vocals have something of an old soul, a somewhat bigger than life presence … check!

Hayung – Can I Call You  (Downtempo / Minimal/ Alternative / Indie R&B)

HAYUNG is an eponymous singer/songwriter/producer from Berlin. Combining gloomy synthesizers, syncopated rhythms and jazzy guitars the newcomer has released his Alternative Pop debut album 'Idle' in June 2019 on Späti Palace.

Memorable vocals, a taste of sweet and rough. A perfect drink in the early morning hours with a proper ‘Filmriss’ at the end.

OVRGRWN – Glenn Park  (Synthwave / Vaporwave/ Pop)

There's two of us. We make noise.” Glenn Park takes you back to the romantic ideal of the 80’s, draws you into a Stranger Things experience and goes even a bit further, like making a brief stop at Lynch’s surreal Twin Peaks. Their emotional storytelling shows us a glimpse of a truly hopeful but far from arrived future. A charismatic voice that won’t leave your mind. A boy and a girl from San Francisco walk with flames leaving an echo pinned to your nostalgic wall. A perfect moment in time.
