The Wannadies veröffentlichen ihre 21 besten B-Seiten (Album)

„We were astounded over the high quality of the songs. Most of them were recorded pretty swiftly, we had maybe 3–4 days in the studio to record 4–5 songs that weren’t meant to appear on any album. The process was extremely quick, sometimes the songs were mixed before we left the studio, it was a punkier and more concluding process. But still many of them sound very good, and there’s a lot of playfulness to them.“

„As a northener, you easily get a bit tired of people saying ‚Oh, you’re from up north?‘, while if somebody is from the south or Stockholm, they talk about specifically where from. Our previous compilation album was called Skellefteå, so now we are stepping up to make Västerbotten more visible as a province. It’s an honour for us to show all the municipal coats of arms, and we are incredibly grateful that all the municipalities gave us their permission to use them. We think it turned out so incredibly great, you could almost frame it!“
